Respiratory Illness Pathway

Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, we have invested heavily in new safety processes, cross infection control, enhanced PPE and technology to ensure Smile Concepts Dental Care remains a safe, clinical environment for our patients and colleagues.

We are happy to provide face masks and hand sanitiser, these are located in the practice entrance.

We politely ask you attend alone wherever possible or with one other person if absolutely necessary.

Upon arrival to the practice prior to entering please read our respiratory illness (including your chaperone) questions located on the window.

If you (or your chaperone) have any of the symptoms listed, please call reception and we will re-arrange your appointment. If you do not have a phone with you ring the door bell and a member of staff will meet you at the door.

If you have any of the respiratory symptoms and if you have a severe dental emergency, we will arrange remote triage with a dentist and make appropriate arrangements for emergency help.

If you consider yourself (or your chaperone) to be vulnerable i.e. previously been told to shield, are immunocompromised etc please wear a facemask upon entry to the practice.

We hope that the above ensures that you can rest assured when visiting that every step has been taken to ensure the safety of you and our team. If you would like more information on the safety measures in place, please call us on 0121 705 2705 or email [email protected]
