Sean is one of our associate dentists and has been part of the team at Smile Concepts since August 2011.

Graduating from Birmingham University in 1998, he then worked for four years at a busy West Midlands practice, before moving onto a private city centre practice.  In 2005 an opportunity arose in Australia, where living and working in Melbourne for almost 2 years gave him an experience of a very different healthcare system.

Working at a variety of different types of practices has given Sean broad experience in all areas of general dentistry.  This is reinforced with regular attendance to courses and conferences, and keeping up-to-date with all the latest treatment approaches.

He enjoys all aspects of aesthetic dentistry and has completed an extensive course in contemporary restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Sean has a particular special interest in cosmetically focused orthodontics, and can offer straight teeth treatments using clear aligners or fixed braces. With over ten years of experience of using clear aligner systems, he is currently a leading provider of ClearCorrect® in the UK. He also holds Level 2 accreditation for the popular Six Month Smiles® cosmetic brace system, and lectures for the Dominic Hassall Training Institute.

Outside of work he enjoys spending family time with his wife and young son, running, and sometimes making furniture from his home workshop!
