Practice Measures for COVID-19

The practice is open as normal and is following Government Guidelines on a daily basis.

The safety of you our patients and that of our staff is our number one priority. We are taking every step to reduce the possibility of the spread of Covid – 19 infection. The protective measures that we are undertaking are numerous:

  • We are confirming all appointments in advance and accompanying persons. We suggest minimising numbers eg. by not bringing additional siblings where possible, if you have any of the symptoms of Covid-19 please let us know and we can re-arrange your appointment
  • We are recommending waiting in your own vehicles rather than in the patient lounge. Please come into the practice at your appointment time. We have hand sanitiser for your use on arrival
  • Our standard protocol in clinical settings includes use of a disposable mask, safety glasses (or face shield) and disposable gloves
  • Between every patient all of the surfaces and chairs are disinfected as per our normal practice protocol. We have also increased our protocols in non-clinical areas
  • You can be reassured that we have always had the highest of standards and our instruments and materials are always cleaned and sterilised in strict accordance with HTM-01-05
  • Patients will be asked to perform a mouthrinse before dental procedures to reduce the number of oral microbes
  • Our clinical staff arrive to work and leave work out of uniform, changing at work into fresh uniform every day
  • We will continue to monitor the advice and recommendations for dental practices. You can be assured that we are being proactive with all possible measures
  • If you have any questions please call us on 0121 705 2705
  • Wishing you, your families and the larger community, the very best of health
